St Colman's GCSE English students attended Assumption Grammar School in Ballynahinch to participate in a creative writing masterclass.
They were joined by Year 11 pupils from The High School, Ballynahinch and St Colmcille's High School for this shared learning experience.
Critically acclaimed author ,Sheena Wilkinson, led a series of practical workshops which were funded through the Shared Education Signature Project (SESP).
Sheena said: "It was fantastic to work with students from four different schools with over 100 fifteen year olds doing a creative masterclass for a whole morning. Fair play also to the teachers for joining in!"
