Remote Learning Update
Good afternoon
Our Remote Learning will continue next week. Today we can share with pupils and parents a timetable which will begin on Monday 11th January. This will set out when you will have certain subjects and will give you a chance to plan your week. Students will be required to log into their Form Group Google Classroom every morning to complete registration before checking into the relevant virtual classrooms as timetabled. In the event that you are unable to attend the lesson at the scheduled time, please message the teacher through Google Classroom. Any work set should be completed at the earliest opportunity.
Engagement with remote learning is absolutely important and teachers will be recording attendance, assessment marks and tracking your child’s progress. These marks along with Winter and possibly other assessments will be used for setting predicted grades, if required.
Some lessons will be live through Google Meet. Don’t forget that normal rules regarding behaviour still apply in an online class. Some lessons will be recorded videos, so if you are unsure what to do, you can listen again. I’m sure you can’t wait to see your teachers.
Your teachers have been busy preparing so now is the time to engage. If you can, find a quiet space at home that’s NOT your bedroom, with plenty of light and no distractions and let get going!!
