Examination Results 2024–2025
We are extremely proud of the achievements of our students at both GCSE and GCE level this year. These results reflect the commitment of our young people, the dedication of our staff, and the strong partnerships we continue to build with families.
At GCSE, outcomes remain consistently strong. Almost nine in ten pupils (89.16%) achieved 5 or more grades at A–C*, continuing a positive trend across recent years. Notably, 90.91% of pupils entitled to Free School Meals achieved this benchmark, demonstrating the school’s ongoing focus on equity and high expectations for all learners. While performance in the combined measure including English and Mathematics has seen some fluctuation, overall attainment remains in line with previous years and reflects the broad and inclusive nature of our cohort.
At Post-16, we are particularly proud that 91.67% of students achieved a pass in all A levels entered, highlighting strong completion and perseverance across a diverse range of pathways. It is important to note that a significant number of our students follow two-subject programmes or mixed academic and vocational pathways, which are designed to meet individual needs, aspirations, and progression routes. Over 81% achieved grades C or above in at least two A levels, and 100% achieved at least one grade C or above, reflects positive outcomes for a broad and inclusive Sixth Form cohort.
As a school, we remain committed to supporting every learner to achieve their potential, Achieve Believe Belong. These results provide a strong foundation as we continue to develop teaching, learning, and progression pathways that ensure all students are well prepared for the next stage of their education, training, or employment.
