5. Affordability and Support

Parents may purchase generic items such as shirts, blouses, trousers, tights, coats and shoes from any retailer, provided they meet the requirements of the College Uniform Policy.

Support available includes:

  • Education Authority Uniform Grants
  • College Pre-Loved Uniform Scheme
  • Confidential support through the College where families are experiencing financial difficulty

6. Uniform Consultation Outcomes Statement

Uniform Consultation Outcomes Statement 

Consultation feedback showed broad support for the continuation of a College uniform, particularly in relation to school identity, safeguarding, equality and belonging. Feedback also highlighted the importance of affordability, consistency, inclusion, sensory adjustments, pre-loved uniform provision and clear communication with parents.
